Pi Day Planning Committee
Pi Day is planned and run by a small group of parents. We are looking for new committee members to help keep Pi Day a success. The committee has limited meetings since the majority of our work can be completed via email. We need to grow our committee in order to help grow Pi Day.

LAKOTA'S ENRICHMENT AND ACADEMIC
DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS
LOTS OF EXHIBITORS, LOTS OF HANDS-ON FUN!
On Friday, March 15th join Lakota LEADS and the Lakota community to celebrate Pi Day the best way we know how – with awesome hands-on STEAM activities! Come see what UC Neuroscience, Cool Critters, Scientific Mayhem, the Wonder Bus, and many, many more exhibitors have in store for you. Our exhibitors are waiting to share their love of math and science with you!
There will be so many different things to do and learn about at Pi Day; there is sure to be something for everyone! You can learn about the upcoming solar eclipse, Ohio wildlife, construction, and even rocketry. You can make seed growing necklaces, do spin art, and design with Legos. You can get really hands-on when you do a “shocking” experiment with static electricity, feel various animal pelts, shoot arrows, and, if you are brave enough, touch a real human brain. You can do all of that and so much more at over 80 tables and stations.
Come eat dinner at Pi Day! We will have several food trucks including: Big Dog’s Pizza, Marty’s Waffles, El Caporal and Steak it Eazy. They will be located in front of the high school with food available starting at 6:00pm, and continuing throughout the event. Seating will be available inside the Auxiliary Gym (just inside the main doors of the building) starting at 6:00 pm, where Lakota LEADS will be selling drinks (water, soda, lemonade) and pies.
